We are amazed at the number of people that are starting to inquire about what we are doing. Someone asked last week how we fund this project. I explained that at this point and for the foreseeable future it will be my family that funds this. We felt a call to do something more than just pray for these people.
We are expecting that the amazing people of this world will step forward family by family and do what they can. At this point our cost per meal is almost $2.00 – and that is a bargain these days.
There is an immense opportunity here to not only serve these people food but to serve some compassion, love and hope.
At The Elisha Project we believe that darkness is only the absence of light…we wish to be light!!!
