EP Bodegas
This program is modeled after the corner store in every inner-city community from Rio Piedras, Puerto to New York City and beyond. Long before the big retailers took over, the Bodega was the heart of the community. We are bringing that back with a twist of volunteerism that focuses on DIGNITY, EMPATHY,and CULTURAL RELEVANCE.
Fresh Foods & Protein
We rescue food from national supermarkets, universities, farmers, government agencies, local shops, restaurants, and producers. We also purchase products such as:
- Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
- Proteins – Fish/Beef/Chicken
- Rice
- Beans
